June’s networking meeting June 18, 2019, was held at our new location Genesys Caribbean restaurant in downtown Whitby.
This morning meeting was well attended, with a group of experienced business owners. All of the businesses represented offer their years of experience and knowledge to the group alongside the traditional business leads.
Our location for our breakfast meeting is held at Genesys Caribbean Restaurant Genesys was founded in 2017. The creation of this unique restaurant was the vision of Andrew and Angela. It was birth from the vision of a couple who shares a passion for travelling and ethnic foods and from that passion a vision of a Caribbean restaurant oasis was born. They dreamt of creating a restaurant that would bring the dishes of the Caribbean Islands under one roof; A place where you will feel, taste and experience the warmth of the Caribbean.
DCBE would like to thank Genesys Caribbean Restaurant for hosting our monthly meetings. Traditional bacon and eggs served buffet style and it includes one traditional item from the Caribbean menu.
Among other business discussions, we discussed our upcoming charitable golf tournament in September as well as a Dream Splash Cruise that will be our summer outing.
